My Husband and I purchased our first home earlier this year. The home was built in 1982 so it needs several updates. We have broken down this big renovation project into small stages to work with our budget and busy schedule.

Personal Renovation Project

In March of 2021 we had the opportunity to purchase Tyler’s grandparent’s home. With plenty of space to grow our family, beautiful land, and two shops it was the perfect fit for us. Although the home is spacious and great quality, it’s very dated so there is a lot of renovating to be done. Getting to work on personal projects is what I consider to be my hobby so I am beyond excited to have an ongoing project to work on in my free time. It will be a slow process but I plan to share our progress and tips on renovating a home in stages for anyone who wants to follow along!

We have already made quite a few updates, but before I share current photos you have to see the before pictures to appreciate the progress that’s been made. We got started on renovations before I thought to take any photos so most of these are all realtor photos that I saved from the listing online.
