New Service: Floor Plans
Our team is excited to announce that our portfolio of services is expanding- we are now offering floor plans!
Over the past several years we have been helping clients review and revise floor plans as part of our design process. We feel that the best designs come from us being involved in those early stages of floor plan creation- we can provide tons of insight into the flow, functionality and furniture plan of the home.
We are now able to provide architectural sets of plans through our collaboration with a trusted draftsman.
We know this process can be really overwhelming- there can be a lot of pressure to get everything right. We can help you navigate each step so that you end up with a set of plans perfectly suited for your family and lifestyle!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Let’s chat! We start every project the same way- We pride ourselves in how much time we spend with clients, getting to know you and the people you share your home with. We want to know how you use your home and what inspires you.
What’s your vision? If you already have a rough idea of what you want (even a set of floor plans you found on Pinterest) we can discuss what works and what doesn’t for your life. No clue? That’s okay too! We love to work from scratch and dream up something unique!
Sketch it out. We put everything we’ve discussed together in a first draft. This gives us a place to start. We can then review and talk about how the home can flow and function for your family.
Bring in the draftsman! Once we have a plan together that everyone is feeling good about, we meet with our technical designers so that they can get to work. We sit with you in each meeting so that you have professional input and suggestions on any questions that may come up!
Presto! Floor Plans! Once the drafter sends back the blueprints, we can adjust as needed until we have a final set of plans that you feel confident and excited about. You can then take these to your builder of choice. If that’s all you need from us, we wish you all the best! If you would like to continue and add on our design services, we would be delighted.
